Hi everyone! My name is Nadia Siddiqui and I am honored to serve as your President for the 2022-2023 academic year! I am a senior public health major and I am actually starting my masters in public health this year as well! I am originally from Houston, TX, and love cooking, baking, eating, and anything related to food. I also love animals, my family and I have 5 dogs and 8 cats (my house is basically a zoo). I am excited to make new memories and long-lasting connections with you guys!

Hi! My name is Celine Nicolas and I will be serving as the Vice President of DTM for this year! I am currently a senior studying civil engineering. I was born and raised in Lebanon and moved to the US about 10 years ago. I enjoy reading, music, watching TV shows, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family! I am also very much obsessed with my cat Lori (her and Nadia’s cat Romeo are besties). I am so excited to meet you and get to know you guys!

Hi! My name is Layla Shere and I am a junior Biochemistry major with a Healthcare Reform & Innovation minor. I’ll be your Secretary this year! I’m Indian but my hometown is Houston. I love watching basketball (go Rockets!), trying new restaurants, traveling, and shopping (retail therapy, right?). Some fun facts: I have a chubby cat named Luna (she doesn’t have a tail), I need a lot amount of sleep and I can eat absurdly spicy foods. I can’t wait to meet all of you and hang out during the semester!

Hello, my name is Warrd Alawami, and I will be DTM’s Treasurer this year! I am currently a senior majoring in Supply Chain Management and Minoring in Finance. I am also an international student from Saudi Arabia and have been part of DTM for the last three years. My favorite things to do are reading, traveling, and getting to know new people. I’ve met my best friends while being a part of this organization. I am excited to see what this upcoming year has in store!

Hi everyone!! My name is Sumer Zakaria and I am a junior Journalism major with a Business minor. After I graduate, I hope to attend Law School. I will be this year's Social Coordinator and I am beyond excited to plan all of our fun events this year!! A part of my goal as Social Coordinator is to put together events that foster relationships between members and hope to create fun environments in which we can all get to know one another. I have a cat named Binx (if you’ve ever seen Hocus Pocus we need to talk) that I am obsessed with and miss like crazy when I’m not in Houston. Aside from Binx, I love spending time with my friends (and drinking copious amounts of coffee), watching - and talking about - TV shows, and cooking and cannot wait to meet all of you! If you ever see me come and say hi!

Hi, my name is Sai Cheruvu, and I am a senior Public Health major with a journalism minor and a BDP certificate in social entrepreneurship and nonprofits. I love gardening, making tea, and antiquing. I also love agriculture and farmers, and after I graduate, I want to pursue an MS in soil science. If you are ever interested, I can go on for hours about organic and natural farming and its impacts on society. I also value one-on-one interactions, so if you ever want to join me for coffee or tea, I would love to get to know you more! I am very excited to be the media coordinator for DTM this year and capture all the fun moments we will have :)
